What is Creative Tech Design?
This organization is meant to be a platform dedicated to helping incoming user researchers and product designers become fully educated and masters of user experience. We wanted to create an environment for students to create, innovate, and inspire others as well. We offer workshops to help build skills and bring in professionals in the industry to motivate and inspire young designers.

Just Design: Designing For Social Justice
A designathon dedicated to social justice hosted by Creative Tech Design and Davis Interactive. During quarantine, we decided to host an event catered to students passionate about design and social justice. We wanted to join designers from all over the world and come together to create projects to help educate the world on social justice matters. With everything happening in today’s world, it was crucial for us to take a stance and use our power as designers to show the world reality and advocate for justice.

Besides trying to keep the legacy alive at UC Santa Cruz, we want to keep striving for bigger events, inspiring workshops, and create a comforting community for undergraduate product designers. As a person who struggled to find a starting point, I want to be able to be a guide for those who are curious and need a place to discover the realm of design and user experience.
